Ashton Cox is currently competing in the Senior TKM class in the British Karting Championships with Klaassen Motorsport.
Ashton followed in the footsteps of his older brother, Ben - beginning his karting career at the age of eleven in Tyro karting, before moving up into Junior and Senior TKM.
He has recently begun a three-year Build and Test apprenticeship with BWT Alpine F1 Team.
Ashton, in his own words:
“My first time in a go-kart was in my dad’s thirty-year old fun kart - just like my brother, Ben. I then moved into indoor karting, before trying out a go-karting session at Shenington Kart Club. I followed Ben into Tyro karting at Rissington aged eleven. Working with Alpine is an amazing opportunity to build on skills learned in the past few years of racing. My first few weeks have been fantastic!”
